It is a simple saying that when played out carries great weight in the spectrum of anyone’s life. Hunting in the great outdoors has become our gateway to adventure and it can be the same for all who pursue it. It is an act in life that will connect each and every one of you to the natural world around you on a level that is intimately personal. It will allow you to discover not only the natural order of life but also uncover just who you are and where your place within this world really is.

Hunting can often be overviewed as a brutal act of killing innocent animals. In actuality, the hunt occurs every day, every hour, every minute in the natural world. It is a balance of nature. A natural pursuit of survival. To deny that hunting occurs naturally in the world is hypocritical. At some point in time, many have developed a blind idea that food comes from a grocery store. A total disconnect from the truth. Imagine the connection of knowing and seeing the majestic movements of the animal that gave it’s life for you to continue on with your own. Fathom the respect that one would harbor within the processing of the animal for consumption. It’s an undeniable respect and connection to the act of survival and to the animal that gave it’s life. Something that cannot be found in aisle 4 or 5 of the grocery store along side all the advertisements and hustle and bustle of society.

Societal life is at times busy, hectic, and stressful. It’s undeniably important to step out of our daily routines and reconnect to nature and to our place within in it. To develop a respect for our world and the creatures that roam here. Hunting is not a cruel act of killing, it is the way of the world and an intimate connection that you gain through becoming a hunter. The first step of finding your natural position and connecting within the world around you is completely in your control. For adventure awaits, for those that seek it out.
